CABER LAUNCHES BEDCARE PROGRAM

MARKHAM, Ontario - Caber Distributors has entered into a strategic alliance with W3 Solutions to create a new mattress care protection program it believes will offer consumers greater value while enhancing retailer profitability.

"Our innovative BedCare program," Caber president Bernard Weinstein explains, "is a win-win situation for dealers, consumers and all our national sales reps. Now, we can offer everything to satisfy everybody's sleep experience needs - everything that is, except the mattress."

Based here, Caber is the Canadian distributor of the Protect-A-Bed line of mattress protectors.

Under the program, whenever a consumer purchases a new mattress and a Protect-A-Bed premium mattress protector at the same time and location, the warranty kicks in because it's included in the price. Once the sale is made, the dealer has nothing to do as the responsibility to register with BedCare belongs to the consumer who must register on-line within 10 days of purchase.

According to Weinstein, the program includes a 10-year spillage warranty, three-year unlimited odour removal, three-year enhanced service warranty, along with a three-month extended comfort exchange in addition to the dealer's comfort exchange. BedCare is underwritten by federally licensed insurance companies in both the United States and Canada.
